Got oily skin?

Do you have oily skin? Do you look like a grease ball by the end of the day? Does your make-up slip and slide no matter what you do? Well ladies, I've finally found the perfect miracle in a bottle. :D

I've tried many primers that claimed to keep my foundation from slipping and sliding and I think I've found the winner!! It's Smashbox's Photo Finish (Light) I was a very skeptical about buying this product because I have an UBERLY OILY face, yuck. Could this really help control my exploding pores? I've tried countless remedies from blotting powders, tissues, toilet-seat covers, massaging ice on my face, masks, etc., they only hide my shiny forehead for less than an hour :[ BUT this is thee stuff and it truly does work wonders. I apply ONLY one pump to cover my entire face (mainly forehead and cheeks). It smooths to a matte finish. You can wear it alone or apply it under foundation for a flawless finish. My face looks matte for the whole day without needing to blot or reapply makeup. It's a little bit pricey ($36) but I honestly think it's worth it! You can try it out at ULTA or maybe Sephora or even buy the travel size for $16 and see for yourself!

Review: Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Yesterday, I stopped by my local ULTA planning to pick up my favorite Urban Decay Primer Potion. Instead of my "grab-and-go" idea, I casually strolled in and out of the isles and landed in front of the Too Faced section. "Hmm, should I try the Shadow Insurance?" I thought. There have been many reviews on it verses the UDPP, so I thought I'd give it a try and give an honest opinion.



So for today, I applied a small dot (enough to cover both lids) and went about the day leading into the evening. Total bliss! I love this stuff and here's why:

The Shadow Insurance...
1. come's in an "easy-to-squeeze" tube.
2. applies smooth and light. UDPP is sometimes chalky&feels thick.
3. no creasing and makes eye shadows pop like whoa.
4. for a dollar LESS($17) it's .01 Fl Oz. MORE haha.

Don't get me wrong, I still love UDPP, but we're at a rough stage in the economy and I could use that extra dollar :] PLUS, I just wanted to try something new hehehhe.
